Our Technology

As part of our effort to provide the best dental care possible, we use state-of-the-art equipment, modern technology and the most advanced dental techniques.

Cone Beam Scanner

Often referred to as a CAT-Scan, our Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scanner produces a digital 3D view of the teeth and their supporting structures. With its high-resolution precision imagery, this advanced type of radiography is fast, simple, painless, and minimizes radiation exposure to the patient.

These images allow our dentists to easily evaluate and identify problems that would often go undiagnosed with standard 2D technology. The full 360-view of the teeth makes it a valuable tool in helping to diagnose abnormalities, unusual pathology, cracked teeth, impacted wisdom teeth, curved roots, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, sinus lifts and sinus pathology, bone grafting, and positioning of implants.

Intraoral Scanners

The intraoral scanning system is a new alternative to dental impressions. It uses a digital scanning technique that produces a detailed and precise 3D image of the mouth and makes the process of taking an impression much more comfortable for the patient. The scanner is used for procedures such as veneers, crowns, orthodontic treatment and more.

Dental Microscope

This special dental microscope by Global Surgical Corporation is used by endodontic specialists and gives them the ability to treat root canals effectively and with immense precision. This type of magnification improves their level of accuracy of tooth preparations and margins, therefore preventing damage to any connective tissue or adjacent teeth that may otherwise occur during an endodontic procedure.

PERIOLASE® (LANAP)

PerioLase® Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) is a safe and effective protocol used in treating periodontal disease, a gummy smile, or to simply improve the appearance of gums. This type of laser treatment is minimally invasive, as painless as possible, and can often reverse gum disease as well as regenerate soft tissue and bone. This method is gentle enough to remove infected material deep inside the periodontal pockets without harming healthy tissue and has a faster recovery period when compared to traditional periodontal therapy. PerioLase® is the only FDA-approved dental laser which is proven to have a 100% success rate in tissue reconstruction.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras are used to produce high-resolution images of the inside of a patient’s mouth. Using this tool, we can conveniently capture images of a tooth from different angles. By viewing these images, patients can better understand their oral health and their dentist’s recommendations for treatment.
