Dr. Edmund Young

General and Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Edmund Young received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. He also earned a Master’s in Public Health from San Francisco State University and a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy from University of California Berkeley. He completed his dental residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY.

Before dental school, Dr. Young served as a volunteer caring for the underserved communities at the Berkeley Free Clinic in Berkeley, CA. It was there that he saw firsthand the ability of dental care to transform lives – by alleviating pain, impacting overall health, and improving appearance and self-esteem. In his current patient care, he emphasizes preventative measures and education in maintaining excellent oral health.

Dr. Young grew up with an interest in drawing (a trait he shares with his father), a keen eye for photography, and an appreciation for good design and architecture, which he explored during a summer program at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Nowadays, Dr. Young continues to work on his photography. He also enjoys cooking, traveling the world to learn about different cultures, and playing ice hockey whenever he can get some ice time.
